YOUTH & AG MEAT PEN GUIDELINES
The MSRPA will donate the profits that the Youth and Ag Committee collects throughout the year to the MSRPA youth at the Missouri State Fair Meat Pen show. The top 5 qualifying MSRPA youth members will receive the additional prize money.
The Youth and Ag Committee will determine the amount of money to be awarded based upon the profits collected throughout the year. The profits will be divided five ways with the percentages being 30%, 25%, 20%, 15% and 10%. A Grand and Reserve Champion overall will be selected. Once that has been chosen all gold ribbon placing Meat Pens, who are qualifying members of MSRPA, will come to the table in the order they were placed, with the 4-H and FFA pens being separated.
